Drama with a octopus as the lead character, exploring animal consciousness and the extraordinary sensory physiology of octopuses. It was researched with generous help from the people and cephalopods at Plymouth National Marine Aquarium, The Marine Biological Association and Brighton Sealife Centre.
'The Octopus' is an original Afternoon Drama for Radio 4. It was first broadcast broadcast October 2013, starring Amy Manson, Riann Steele, Aled Pugh and Ronan Summers.
Produced and directed by James Robinson, BBC Wales.
